The Gala
Annual Employee Appreciation/Recognition Event
The Gala is NEF's signature event that recognizes district employees' achievements, retirements, honors Teacher and Staff of the Year as well as community awards such as Service to Education and Education Achievement. Since 2009, The Gala is a much anticipated event where district employees and various members of the community come together and celebrate. This formal evening includes an awards ceremony and dinner, oftentimes including a special show or group of instrumentalists for entertainment.
There are many opportunities for organizations and individuals to contribute to this special event. NEF is actively seeking out sponsors to assist with funding (tax-deductible). Sponsors are recognized via NEF social media, the NEF website, within the program at each place setting the night of the Gala, and many are recognized aloud with special thanks that evening.
